I’m Erin, the e behind Studio E.
I'm not a mom in my photographer era, but rather a photographer in my mom era.
I'm a wife, mom, gardener & squirrel brained creative. I love being outdoor & chasing light.
As for my formal training as a photographer, I finished academic creative investment over 15 years ago when I graduated from the Illinois State University Art Department. From there, I've never put down my Canon - but have definitely picked up all sorts of random fun cameras & accessories!
I started with primarily weddings. Since then, I've expanded to seniors, added families, fast forward to sports, headshots, branding, studio fun, light exploration & creative collaborations.

No awkward poses, just an excuse to hang out with your family looking your best being playful and effortlessly you, exactly as you are today. I’ll guide you when you need it, but mostly, I’m just there to show you how beautiful of a life you've created.
Worried your kids won’t sit still? Don’t be. Thinking too hard about being in front of the camera? Nope. Let’s ditch the pressure or insecurities because none of us need another reason to feel anxious. Every day matters.

Ben & Erin have been together 13 years. A natural jack of all trades & master of just about anything but golf, Ben is Studio E's built in tech support, second shooter & overall support system. Helping logistics behind the scene, wrangling Erin's file hoarding habits (and designing systems to keep all these files safe), overall problem solver, Studio flower waterer & second shooter of any larger event & every single wedding.
Ben is a seeker of knowledge & has taken all of Erin's teaching, paired it with his own extensive and technical research & crafts beautiful, creative images to enhance each event or wedding gallery delivered.
Seemingly, without words, the two have been told they "do a dance" at every event, tackling different aspects for cohesive coverage.
Outside of photography, Ben is known as the man to call to fix or problem solve all the things. Also, specializes in HVAC automation & being Super Dad in between it all.
